Bourne Legacy tops Box Office
Bourne Legacy, released on Friday knocked Batman out of the top spot. The movie stars Jeremy Renner who takes over from Matt Demon although he is playing a different character. It took in $40,265,000 domestically and $7,800,000 in the foreign market for a grand total of $48,065,000. For some reason that doesn’t sound like a lot for a movie like that.
Number 2 this week was the Will Ferrell & Zach Galifianakis comedy the Campaign which took in $27,440,000. The Dark Knight Rises came in 3rd with $19,540,000 domestically with a larger total of $390,149,000 domestically and : $445,300,000 oversees for a grand total of…. $835,449,000.
I just wanted to report of the remake of the Total Recall movie. It seems to be bombing at the box office. This week it was number 6 on the box office charts and this are its numbers.
+ Foreign: $27,500,000
= Worldwide: $71,688,000
I get sad to see some of these movies bomb. Maybe Hollywood is too remake crazy these days?
